Line dancing is a great way to kick up your heels and enjoy life! Line Dancing offers a fun and easy activity to get low-impact exercise with no previous dance experience, no equipment and no particular skill set. All you need is a desire to have fun.
Learn the essentials of line dance and get movin’ and groovin’ to all kinds of rhythms from Country to R&B, Top 40 to Oldies, and Hip Hop to Latin. Dances are choreographed and each dance repeats a certain sequence of steps. repetitive and include elements of waltz, two step, rumba, cha cha and more.
Line dancing can be enjoyed by all ages, all fitness levels and even the rhythmically challenged will find their dance feet. Some health benefits of line dance include toning the body, strengthening muscles, brain-body coordination, increasing balance and stability, aerobic benefits with low impact, and much more. If you want to have fun, get exercise, dance with your friends and learn a few handy moves to take with you anywhere, this would be the class for you. You never need a partner for this type of dancing but feel free to bring all your friends. Appropriate for all levels.
